Album Info:A very busy and rewarding month. CN and CP are featured - along with some rather unusual sightings: Union Pacific at Fort Erie, ex-CSX 7313 at Port Robinson, CN 4-8-4 Steam on display at Fort Erie Railway Museum, Big Blue CEFX 1056, the AMTRAK Maple Leaf, Norfolk Southern New York Central Heritage Unit 1066 - and a really special guest appearance by my wonderful 4-year-old grandson on his first 'real' trip to the tracks with his granddad - just in time to catch Train 531 out of Port Robinson. (Wary parents can relax. He was safe and sound - bolted into his car seat - with the window wide open - when the train rolled by).

Description:  Winding up a very satisfying day of train chasing is this delicious 'Black Widow' IC 1000 SD70 leading Train 531 today. Here, the train passes under the Schisler Road overpass at Silverthorn Court - where I climbed onto a pile of ballast rocks for a better angle.
