I was able to get a grab shot off the train as we passed the yard in St John. Alcos in the house-an RS 23 and a C424. The RS 23's were common, and held down a variety of local and yard assignments. Some would get assigned to the D&H when CP took over the following year. |

| Description: |
The Atlantic stopped at McAdam, its last stop in Canada, which is also a base for several locals. A pair of RS 23s and a van wait out the night as we take care of business. I was able to set up long enough to get a shor of the slumbering Alcos. |

I was shooting the CN trains coming out of the Mont Royal tunnel, just below and behind me, when I heard the crossing gates for the CP line overhead wtart to ring. I ran and was able to get this going away shot of a westbound behind a pair of 6 axle MLWs. |
