Album Info:UPDATE: Information relating to the fate of the ice cream stand caboose is provided here from an account taken from the April 6, 2012, edition of the West County News-Journal. The caboose was moved to Arcade, NY after being purchased by a woman as a gift for her husband who worked for the railroad for 32 years. It is now being operated as a walk-up restaurant called the Little Red Caboose LLC which opened for business on April 1, 2012. The former owner brought the caboose to Lake City, PA in 1993. It took two flatbeds to ship the caboose to Lake City. The caboose was built around 1951. After being retired from railroad service, it was moved to Wattsburg, PA where it was called the Red Eye Express Restaurant. Stories surrounding the caboose, included that a president at one time took pictures on it and that it came from Canada.
