Description:  Chione. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken in Cincinnati, Ohio, on 9 August 1956. The phowographer is not!identified. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #5782 and another E-8 whose number is not recorded. Both are EP-22's built by GM-EMD any rated at 2,250 horsepower each. #5762 was built in November of 1952, acquired by the Penn Central and renumbered "4262," and later turned into a roadside cafe in Duanesburg (NY) and repainted as New York-Central E-8 number "4097" (circa 2010)!

Description:  Oil Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Chicago, Illinois, in August of 1961. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #5874 and #5762. Both were built by GM-EMD. #5874 is an EP-20 built in April of 1949 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. #5762 is an EP-22 built in November of 1952, rated at 2,250 horsepower, acquired by the Penn Central and renumbered "4262," and later turned into a roadside cafe in Duanesburg (NY) as New York Central E-8 number "4097" (circa 2010)!

Description:  17th Street. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 10 July 1965. Shown here (F to R) are PRR engine #5762 and another "E" unit whose number was not recorded. #5762 is an EP-22 built by EMD in 1952 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. They are about to pass under the 17th Street Bridge in Juniata with a ten-car passenger train to Harrisburg, Philadelphia, and New York. On the left is the Westbound Classification Yard; the 8th Street Bridge is visible in the distance, along with the Juniata E&M Shop.
