Title:  Bucolic paradise
Description:  One of the prettier places is off the shoulder of MO 59 near Granby, where the ex Frisco rolls past this rustic looking barn. The problem is, the highway is four lane divided, and you cant really just perch here and wait, which can sometimes be a while. I got lucky this day to catch a train as I reached this spot. A pair of Frisco SD 45s, or quartet of Fs would have really made the shot, but Im about 40 years too late. Ill take BN green, though on this 81 car eastbound.

Title:  Southbound Manifest Through F3 Tornado Damage
Description:  As we were coming back from Caruthersville, MO from surveying the damage we caught this Southbound Mixed Freight BNSF Train M STLAMO1 07 on the River Sub. where April 2nd's F3 Tornado crossed the tracks, the town of Braggadocio was 95% destroyed. Detector and train soup for anyone who cares: no defects, total axles 134, temperature 48 degrees. The train was 47 cars long, with 29 loads and 18 empties. It weighed 4,256 tons and was 3,124 feet long.
