Description:  Pennsy heavyweight Pullman Plan #4060A 6 section-6 double bedroom (6S-6DB) sleeper #8585 POPLAR PIKE, seen at the T&P station in Ft. Worth, Texas (station building/office tower seen in the right background). Originally built in August 1923 in Lot #4697 as the Plan #2411C 12 section-1 compartment-1 drawing room (12S-1C-1DR) sleeper HARDWICK for the general service pool, rebuilt in May 1937 to the Plan #4060 POPLAR PIKE for the PRR, sold to them at the 12/31/1948 Pullman divestiture and leased to Pullman for operation, changed to Plan #4060A in November 1954, withheld from said lease in February 1964 and subsequently transferred to the maintenance-of-way (MofW) department as bunk car #858524, no further disposition info. Scanned with an Epson V550 from a duplicate 35mm slide, brand is unknown.
