Number 612 was built by Pullman in May 1913 as a 12-1 ( 12 Section, 1 Drawing Room, Lot 4149, Plan 2410 ) sleeper named Cymric, air conditioning ( Pullman Mechanical Brine, Plan 2410I ) installed March 15, 1935, sold to CB&Q December 31, 1948, assigned number 612, sold for scrap to Northwestern Steel and Wire August 7, 1963.

Description:  Chicao Burlington & Quincy Railroad 612 at Omaha, Nebraska on September 1, 1962, photographer unknown, duplicate slide by Al Chione, Chuck Zeiler collection, Number 612 was built by Pullman on May 20, 1913 as a 12-1 sleeper and named Cymric ( Plan 2410 - 12 Section - 1 Drawing Room ), rebuilt to Plan 2410I September 6, 1930 ( air-conditioning added March 15, 1935 ), sold to the CB&Q December 31, 1948 assigned number 612, sold for scrap to Northwestern Steel and Wire August 7, 1963. It was last used in dormitory service for the train crew.

Description:  Burlington Route heavyweight Pullman Plan #2410I sleeper #612 (2nd), ex-#601 (1st) CYMRIC, nee-PULL (Lot #4149, Plan #2410, May 1913), changed to Plan #2410I in September 1930, sold to the Burlington at the 12/31/1948 Pullman divestiture as #601 (1st) and leased to Pullman for operation, later renumbered to #612 (2nd) at an unknown date, withdrawn from said lease in October 1958, sold for scrap to North West Steel & Wire on 8/7/1963. Scanned with an Epson V550 from a duplicate 35mm slide, brand is unknown. Date is approximate.
