ACFX 73871 shows off a bright orange and white paint scheme which contrasts against the typical black or white paint schemes on tank cars in service today. This tank was built in October 1990 and carries Metal Alkyls, placard 3399 is for Organometallic substance, liquid, water-reactive, flammable. The stencil next to the ladder states "Harmful to flesh - treat as a chemical burn. Contents react violently with water. Use dry chemical to extinguish cargo fire - avoid water". |
