Wow great picture of history. Love seeing the old wood flats but as a carmen, I am happy I dont have to be in the yard at night with them.

Wow, excellent Photo Bernie....but does anyone load Pulpwood anymore???? The slopes in the cars were to help the Wood stay in place, but it still flew off at times.

Nobody has ever mentioned the SP "Tunnel Motor" fifth out ahead of the TOFC cars. This was during the SCL-SP "run through-merger talk" era.
