| A view from a NOPB hospital train (for car recovery), 2-months post Katrina. The power of flood waters to either wash away roads and track is evident. Water washing away soil under tarmac creating sinkholes across the entire area was amazing. NOPB operations have returned;port intermodal operations remain mostly absent by the end of 2009 |
