| Lake Superior and Ishpeming Railroad (reporting mark LSI) RSD15 2404 at Marquette, Michigan on May 23, 1984, Kodachrome by an unknown photographer, Chuck Zeiler collection. Built in May 1959 as AT&SF 810 (c/n 83469), it was renumbered to AT&SF 9810 in April 1970, retired in January 1975 and sold to the LS&I (between April-May 1975) becoming LSI 2404. It then went to the FRVR (November 1989), then the GB&W, then the WC (August 1993), all the while retaining the road number 2404, finally scrapped in 1996. |
