| NS Northbound Freight Train 172 ( New Orleans, La. to Linwood, NC ) passing by the 794 signal on the passenger main in Woodlawn, Al. with the UP 1996 Southern Pacific Heritage SD70ACe leading the way. It was a battle for a sunlit shot, it took several attempts & this was the only place where the sun peeked out when the train ran, sometimes Mother Nature wins the battles & sometimes as presented in this photo you can win the battle & get a sunlit shot while Mother Nature is busy messing up other railroad photographers sunny shots |
