Local working through the yard  Contributor's Pick!
A local with a B23-7 pulls its train into Allentown. I always liked this view of the yard. It looks like a model railroad, with all the different cars from different roads. The variety could sometimes be stunning. In this view, there are CR hoppers on the far track, some still in their PC and EL markings, as well as PC gons on the local. Note the Clinchfield car on the near track, and flatcars with tanks behind the train.
