| This map shows the Abandon from zone Q (lower left hand corner) up to the main line (zone J) as noted as it crosses Platt St. (right side above the title block) with the area in between collectively known as the Kent St. yards. NYC MofW equipment was stored between Brown and Platt streets in later years - old passenger cars and other stuff, most in jade green and others in gray. All of this trackage and Kent St. itself are all gone today. The soccer stadium is at one end and the baseball stadium the other, with Brown Square in the middle. |
