| UP 4280 - UP 1601 in a more zoomed out shot to try and put it all into perspective: the near lower right is the diesel repair shed spurs (units in the first row listed above... but theyre way the heck off to the right - not just 90°, but off around to the other side of the observation platform) - the little HCLX 3848 is the start of the several rows of rental power and smaller UP power units; I believe departure tracks are next, then thru-lines with the mixed freight visible, receiving tracks back behind the two power units followed by the *west* (bound) hump tower dropping down into the sort bowl out of the frame to the right; departure tracks; finally a whole pile of westbound run-thru tracks not even visible up and off to the distant left... to the best of my guesses - but - this is only a very small fragment of the entire 8 mile length as theres all the *east* (bound, but ot the left/west of the frame) hump tower, yards, maintenance, etc. disappearing into the distant farmland. |
