FEC 445 Switching Cars Editors Pick! Contributor's Pick!
This is a former FEC GP40-3 working on the A&GC in Mobile. As you can see in this image I was standing in the middle of the public street taking this picture and the yellow dot to the far left stepped in front of my car when I returned to tell me I was too close to the tracks, who was I, did I take a picture of him without his permission, even writing down my license number. What an idiot who should be paying more attention to his job and mind his business.

Tom Beckett General There's always one idiot in every crowd who thinks he is going to save the world by chasing off someone who is obviously a railfan in a public place. Unless someone is an actual cop, I don't give them any information. Interestingly, most police I have encountered while taking train photos have been pretty easygoing, once they realize you're not a threat to the Republic. It's the busybodies with cell phones who think they are thwarting the next 9/11 who cause most of the problems. 12/5/2016 1:28:58 AM
Jerry Sires General If you look at the two SD40-2's for the A&GC I have posted here shot the day before we had another incident then, same people, A&GC. I parked my car on the side of the road on the right away for the highway, walked across the street to get the angle I have and someone walked up to the passenger side of my car and photographed my wife. Strange people, they did not say a word. 12/5/2016 10:31:36 AM
