"Interview With Clair Clugh," Page 37, 1996         
Here is page 22 of a 29-page article by Eric Hirsimaki entitled "Interview With Clair I. Clugh: Manager, Altoona Works (Retired)." It was published originally in the Summer 1996 issue of "Keystone" magazine, page 37. Photo Caption: "The smokebox front has been removed from I1S #4591 for access to its superheater. East Altoona enginehouse." Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4591 is an I-1SA (2-10-0) "Decapod" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an I-1S during September of 1923, rebuilt in Juniata as an I-1SA in October of 1944, and retired in August of 1955 after 32 years of faithful service.
