Coal Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide (converted to B&W) by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Sharpsburg, Pennsylvania, on 24 April 1960. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6442, a J-1 (2-10-4) "Texas" built in Juniata during November of 1943 and retired in February of 1960 after just 17 years of revenue service.
