TRB. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Fred Kern that was taken at the Rockville Bridge near Marysville, Pennsylvania, on 20 October 1957. In this photo, a westbound Pennsylvania Railroad passenger train meets an eastbound freight at the western end of the Bridge as Peter's Mountain guards the far shore of the Susquehanna River. All of the locomotives pictured here were built by GM-EMD. At the right (L to R) are engines #5849 and two more "EP" Class units whose numbers are not recorded; #5849 is an EP-20 built in August of 1947 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. At the left (R to L) are engines #9662 and another "EF" Class unit whose number is not recorded; #9662 is an EF-15A built in February of 1950 and rated at 1,500 horsepower. Richard R.
