Brady Union Depot.
This depot at Brady, TX served both the Santa Fe and Frisco. Frisco, through their Fort Worth & Rio Grande subsidiary, built into the area first, with a line from Brownwood, TX to Menardville, TX. The Santa Fe came later, with a branch line which ran from Lometa, TX to Eden, TX. At the time of our visit, the Gulf Colorado and San Saba shortline was operating the former Santa Fe branch to a sand mine located just east of Brady. The former Frisco trackage, and the Santa Fe from Brady to Eden had already been abandoned.
