Electrics. Here is a photo via Bob Lorenz that was taken near Morrisville, Pennsylvania, in 1964. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #4804 and #4886. Both are GG-1 (2-C-C-2) electrics rated at 4,620 horsepower each. #4804 was constructed by General Electric in June of 1935 and retired in June of 1966, while #4886 was built in Juniata during March of 1939.
