Mann. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Cove, Pennsylvania, c. 1953. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9819 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. All are EF-15A's built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9819 was built in May of 1951. In this context, this A-B-A set is rockin' 'n' rollin' with a manifest freight out of Enola bound for Altoona and points West. ("PrrFan18n") |
