| After being on duty for nearly three hours, X515 (Radnor, TN - Waycross, GA) is finally heading south out of Nashville. It is seen here passing through the junction at Brentwood. The track to the left is the old N & D line, which ran between Brentwood and North Athens, AL via Columbia and Pulaski, TN. CSX still owns this line as far south as Godwin (Columbia), TN, with the portion between there and Pulaski being operated by the Tennessee Southern shortline. The Pulaski to North Athens segment was removed in the early 1980's. |
