Union Pacific 4011 rests in the Laramie yard. It wont be long before the engine is backed onto another train for the run across the Wasatch. 4011 was one of 25 4-8-8-4 Big Boys Union Pacific would own, and would become one of the unlucky 17 to be scrapped. 4011 would be the last of those 17 to meet the torch, finally being cut up at Cheyenne on June 14, 1963, 3 years and 11 months after its last run.
