| A CN local crosses Thilmany Rd. as it prepares to service the Ahlstrom-Munksjö NA Specialty Solutions, LLC, Thilmany Mill (out-of-frame to the right) via former C&NW rails at Kaukauna, WI, on 24 Apr. '22. The train is crossing the new, rerouted portion of Thilmany Rd. and the locomotive is about to cross what was the original route of Thilmany Rd. It appears that the remnants of Stribley Rd. and Thilmany Rd. will now just be referred to as the latter (at least there are not any street signs to indicate otherwise). Portions of both roads were altered or removed during the destruction of the majority of the original Thilmany complex and simultaneous restoration of the oldest part of that facility (the Eagle Paper & Flouring Mill) in 2013 (behind me to the left). |
