ATSF 4-6-2 #1333 - Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe         
Great action shot of ATSF 4-6-2 Pacific #1333 passing by the Stockton, CA interlocking tower. Built by Baldwin in November of 1911 originally as a 4-cylinder balanced compound, it was rebuilt to a simple style at the Albuquerque Shops in December of 1925. The loco served for 40 years before being sold for scrap in November 16, 1951 to Finkelstein Supply Company. Rebuilt simplified specs - 73" drivers, 220 psi boiler pressure, 23.5x28" cylinders, engine wt of 277,000 lb, tractive effort of 39,650 lb. Unknown photographer
