Tom Beckett	General	SDP 40F and an E 8B, too. I'm going to guess by the daytime appearance here, this was the National Limited to KC. I never rode this train-I did get the Broadway in August of 1978, over the PRR all the way to Chicago-but never got a chance on the National, which was discontinued in 1979, if I recall, and whose route is not cut in several places.	1/2/2024 4:02:12 AM

Peter Consigli	General	Thanks for the comment, I didn't notice the E8B. I think it was a train that I rode back from Johnston Pa. to New York City. I'm not sure of the exact date. I am glad I have some pictures but wish nI had taken notes!	1/4/2024 11:40:33 PM
