Randy Curlin General WP acquired a set of RDC's to replace their secondary Royal Gorge trains in 1950. The train was discontinued in 1960. If you were a passenger, this was a train to avoid with 19 scheduled stops and almost 100 flag stops~ it was a lot of stop and go. Zephyrettes were a long distance local carrying mail and company materials between Oakland and Salt Lake City. It operated tri-weekly and was discontinued 3/11/2024 4:44:57 PM
