Rick C General Great Shot! Never Seen the rear of a BL2 before. What type of assignments did the Rock give a BL2? 7/10/2007 4:44:55 PM
Marty Bernard General I only saw them in commuter and intercity passenger service. I assume they were originally used on "B"ranch "L"ines because they were made lighter than Geeps. 7/10/2007 5:35:01 PM
Ron Moraca General I'm glad you clarified what BL2 meant, Marty. Thank you. No wonder the Bangor & Arroostook had so many of them! Great photo! 9/17/2008 9:03:04 PM
Mike Maskel General NICE SHOT 1/24/2015 10:56:01 AM
Robert Anderson General Nice photo. Conveys alot. Clean BL2 from the rear/roof.Alco unit and all those express boxes. Rick,BL2s went out on various assignments. Frt,branch, suburban. I remember them frequently on Trains 15/16 Kansas City Rocket,KC/Mpls in late 64. In pairs, with FP7s,Es and even with DL109 621"Cristine" Memory is still intact, but have train sheets to verify. 4/12/2018 12:10:08 AM
