Yes the train had just started to roll up to the station. Have you ever seen a train that starts rolling near a crossing and the gates don't come down till almost the last second possible.

You Got To Tell Me That Chik Is Walking Right In front Of A Moving Train With A Kid Without any Worries? People Do Got To Think Sometimes Too. You Got A Kid. You Don't Just Walk Your @ss Right Into An Oncoming Train! And Yet I Bet That's the Father Taping He Could Atleast Stop Them!

This is the second time I've seen this photo today, so I'll ask another question. Did the loco's engineer see what was happening in front of him in time to react and save those people? A train, even moving at slow speed, takes much longer to stop than a car does.
