Rich Simons General Other Metro-North numbers of this unit type (road numbers were 4184-4190) dont have side walkways. Instead, from the cab to the back end, they have the flat-sided appearance of an F40PH. This particular engine might be unique to have kept the walkways. 3/20/2008 4:37:48 PM
Eric Kreszl General This locomotive is Metro-North's only GP40PH-2 type locomotive. The locomotive is currently at Wabtec being rebuilt. Once rebuilt the locomotive will be renumbered 4906. 4/21/2008 10:39:01 PM
