CN 2-6-0 #83 - Canadian National
Description:
Great action shot of Canadian National 2-6-0 #83 highballing along with a short freight. Buiit by Canadian Locomotive Company in 1910 as GTR #1003, it was merged onto the CN roster in 1923 as their #905 but renumbered in 1951 to CN #83 seen here. Specs - serial #916, class E-10-a, 63" drivers, 170 psi boiler pressure, 21x26" cylinders, scrapped January of 1959. No date, location or photographer was listed for the photo.
